old brown lab

Look at this poor old guy. He will be spending christmas alone on the streets. Can you help him for christmas? Donate now.  He is in a terrible state. He needs to go and retire somewhere secure with love and food.

It is heartbreaking to see an old dog in this shape. It must be so difficult for you janeiro to be confronted with such suffering day in and day out when you are just about spent out.
Is he around the bakery or is he around the house? Does he have illness other than chronic hunger?
I just don't know what to say.

Poor dog. There are so many homeless dogs around the world and it's so sad.

Hi Janeiro,
Is the Chocolate Lab in your care? Do you have sponsorships set up for individual dogs or do you just accept general donations?

Thanks,
Chandra

Hey I am living in MG Brasil at the moment. I see cases like this everyday and no one helps. I don't know what to do as there does not seem to be a government support system for these animals or even a charity. Do you have any advice on how to make a difference where I am? Thanks xx

Hi Chantelle,
I will look to see if there are any charities worth anything near you. However, it is doubtful. Most of the people I know that are making a difference use their own money and keep the dogs. It is extremely difficult to find a responsible new owner here too. I just started with one and look what happened to me broke, stressed but extremely happy when I see there little faces smiling again. I is a battle we will never win. We can only win the battle of a few individuals. I wish you luck and keep in contact because you are not so far away there in MG. Good luck. Failing all else you could justfeed the street dogs when you can they always appreciate it.

That's Guga, isn't it. I'm glad you were able to take him in.
